Flights  
There are several airlines that operate economically priced flights and deals to Nice, Marseille and Toulon. A good place to look for cheap flights is Skyscanner, Easyjet.com, Lowcost.com or Cheapflights.co.uk
Rail    

The Eurostar offers direct journeys to Avignon from Waterloo; this takes about 6 1/2 hours.
It is also possible to change trains in Paris, journey to Aix-en-Provence or Avignon and
pick up your hire car from the station.
